Let me introduce myself 

I am Kate Roberts

I am a coach who specialises in positive psychology, my focus is to help others in how they can capitalise on their strengths and realise their full potential, no matter the barriers they may face in life.

 A bit about me... 

I am a successful HR director at a worldwide consumer brand, coach, mentor, mother of twin girls and a wife.  

I am told I have a uniquely honest, engaging and warm approach to those I work with. My interest in coaching comes from a strong purpose to support others on their personal transformation journeys.

I have over 20 years' experience in sectors including FMCG, Aerospace and Financial services operating across teams globally. 

I also have personal interest in fitness, health and wellbeing.

Oh and I was diagnosed with ADHD 8 years ago :)

 

Why ADHD Coaching

I have first hand experience 

Diagnosed with ADHD 8 years ago, I would say I was/am fairly successful in my career, however what I didn't know was why I felt like I had to work so damn hard and put in so many long hours compared to some of my peers who made it look easy. 

The diagnosis of ADD in one of my daughters was a lightbulb moment for me and after several assessments with a psychiatrist I was diagnosed with having ADHD myself. This diagnosis shined a huge light on my life, and from that point on I worked on understanding the impact ADHD had on me; past and present. 

It was like finding the missing user manual to my life, but it also enabled me to learn and build new skills and strategies for managing my ADHD traits more productively.

Coaching is a great enabler to finding and implementing strategies and tools that can really improve planning, time management and focus, both at work and home.
